My servant Mommies

I wanted to thank both of my daughters for their self sacrifice while raising their little ones. I am so inspired by your selfless love and devotion to your husbands and children. I have so quickly forgotten all the sleepless nights and and hours of training and disciplining and after spending a week with Nicole and girls I have a new appreciation and prayer life for you girls. Nicole you put on a selfless display before my eyes from waking up joyfully after being up with a nursing baby several times during the night to bible time with Lyla and Georgia each morning memorizing verses to train their little hearts, several loving spankings each day, endless diaper changes, breakfast lunch and dinner and all the snacks in between, park day, playing monsters, reading books, to bath and bedtime stories ending each night with a hymn sung by their mommy and praying a scripture over them. You are my heros and I am so proud of you! I know it can only be your love of your Savior that gives you the strength and patience, love and joy you have for this high calling. I pray you do not grow weary in doing good for you will reap a harvest, Gal 6:9

My little boy is growing up!

Okayyyy. I know Kindergarten graduations are a little over the top but you know what? I don't care, my kid is cute and he's my first so this is quite the big deal, hee hee :)

When he was up on stage singing, I totally had a proud mommy moment. He was so stinken' cute! I was shoving people out of my way and snapping pictures like a crazy person. Matt was like, "when did you turn into a freaky mom?" hahaha
Drew and his buddies....
Drew and his best buddy :)
Aw, our cute family....sometimes I still feel like I'm playing house, then I'm like "oh wait, I'm a for-real mom and these are my for-real kids, yikes!"
After the performance, we went out to dinner with Pappa and Mimzy, aw fun memories....

Mother's Day at the park.....

Since I had a schnazy new bike, we thought we'd give it a whirl at the "dinosaur park" as the kids call it....its actually called the Riparian Preserve but whatever. Its one of matt's favorite places and I don't mind it as long as there aren't too many living things around (which, unfortunately is kinda of the point of the whole place).

Eli was so mad that he couldn't play in the water with the big kids, so by the end I finally plunked him in. He sat, and played, and got all wet too, so cute!

This is Bella's scary face, she's such a weirdo :)

Drew was dropping things down the waterfalls for a while until he got a really great idea and started sending Bella's baby down, she freaked. It was hilarious.

Look at this hot daddy with a baby seat on his bike! What a guy.....:)

I got some time alone to do some "crafting" in the afternoon so I made bella a shirt and some hair bows, she thought she was the bee's knees in her new outfit. Of course, I wasn't thinking of purple leggings when I made it but whatever :)

Mom gave me a charm bracelet with the kid's initials on it, that and this picture officially make me a mom. I mean, COME ON! Look at my mom-smile! (I actually asked for the bracelet and I think its totally cool, so its pretty much official, I don't even need the van).

Hearts,

b*

Had to share this cute card from T

My MOM

Wanted to take a moment to honor my mom on this Mother's day weekend. Each year I grow older I grow more thankful for the mother God has given me and although I know she is far from perfect she is the perfect mom for me. I am so thankful that God restored our relationship after her and dad's divorce and that He granted forgiveness in my heart to love and appreciate all the great things in my mom. I am so thankful for her sacrifice to stay at home and raise us kiddos and care for our home. She did an excellent job of teaching us kiddos how to cook and clean and care for our home. There is not a day that goes by that I don't do something she taught me in caring for my own home and with excellence . I love how she loves my children and loves to bless us all with her culinary skill with such joy and enthusiasm . I look forward to each year when we get time to be together and shop , cook , and just hang out. So thankful for the gift of my MOM!
