This year we broke Christmas Eve tradition and hit the highway after Christmas Eve service and headed to Phoenix for a lovely open house at Travis and Nora Shanks home.
Then Christmas morning we were loudly greeted at Jon and Mary's house with Drew telling us that Santa came and brought him a soccer ball and that we needed to hurry and come over to open Christmas presents! This was my highlight of the day and reminded me of when all of you were little and so excited about Christmas morning. Becky made a scrumptious breakfast casserole and we toasted with mimosas quite a delightful morning. I think I was in my pajamas until noon!
